Hey Tribe,

As I mentioned on Instagram (@womanandfinance) earlier this week; I wanna try something new here on the Woman & Finance website, I want to start doing podcasts where I share my thoughts  on different topics around money.

To begin with these type of podcasts, I thought it would be fun to start off by sharing with  you my own financial journey and how I manage my finances so far!

  2. Thank you. Very informative especially being the last few days of the year it’s always a good idea to repan and re-evaluate your plans. My financial goals did not go as planned this year so this was very informative and I needed to be reminder that I can always start over with more determination as its never to late.

  6. Hey Mapalo

Firstly, I love the re-branding. Secondly, great podcast! So authentic and practical AND it was not boring at ALL! very informative. I loved the re-assurance you gave through your own journey ( that slow and steady does the trick, always), good to know I’m on the right track.

Lessons learnt,1) preparation is key! You spend one hour a day on studying. Very inspired!!!
    2) Start where you are (how you mention that you offer couching but not YET a multi-millionaire)
    3) Keep the important things first (now that we are young is the time to build and we will flex later, so the Insta gods will just have to eat what we feed them- hahaha).

Side note: you love the word sh*t hey, I was never ready. Good thing I was listening to it alone and not on my drive to work as I normally do with my son. Hahaha!

Keep it up! You are doing well, your grand-children will live to continue the legacy!

    1. Hi Thato, thank you so much for the feedback and the well wishes.

I think I should always start with a PG disclaimer right 🙂 I’m working on my potty mouth! hahahah

100% agree with you on all the lessons. Right now as I get busier, I always remind myself of the bigger picture and why I do what I do. Keeping FOCUS I believe is a big part of success. Knowing yourself and what it is you want to achieve but also understanding that the road will not always be easy.

Thank you for being part of the Tribe
